Overview

St. Louis Community College, Meramec was established in 1962 as Meramec Community College. It was named after the Meramec River and is also known as STLCC-Meramec. The college is administered by the Junior College District of St. Louis City. STLCC-Meramec covers more than 75 acres in Kirkwood, Missouri. There are also three campuses in Ferguson, Wildwood, and St. Louis.

Some of the academic departments of STLCC-Meramec are business administration management, computer science, emergency medical technology, and hotel and restaurant management. The scholarship programs offered by the college include Annual Fund Scholarship at St. Louis Community College Foundation, Dexter Dalton Scholarship, Jo Clayton Memorial Scholarship, and Emerson Minority Engineering Scholarship.

STLCC-Meramec has several student organizations and clubs includidng the American Association, Meramec United, International Students Club, and Muslim Student Association.
