Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas College, also known as STAC, was established in 1952. Located in Rockland County, New York, the college was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill. The college, which became a co-educational institution in the 1960s, is located on 40 acres, and offers educational programs in accounting, mathematics, psychology, art, biology, and natural sciences.
The athletic teams of the St. Thomas Aquinas College, known as the Spartans, compete in sports such as basketball, tennis, cross country, soccer, golf, baseball, and track and field. The students are also active in the Psychology Club, the Sports Management Club, Gamma Kappa Psi, the STAC Commuter Council, the Entertainment and Gaming Organization, and the Bowling Club.
