Overview
Salem Community College, also known as SCC, is a co-educational, two-year public, community college located in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The main campus is spread across an area of more than 10 acres. The college offers associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees in diverse areas of study. SCC awards certificates in more than 40 subjects including liberal arts, business, practical nursing, scientific glass technology, and technology.
Salem Community College has an active student life. The campus is home to several student clubs and organizations. Some of them include Phi Theta Kappa, Salem Glass Society, Criminal Justice Club, Chi Alpha Epsilon, and Multicultural Club. The Oakleaf is the student newspaper of the college. The sports teams are nicknamed as the Oaks.
