Overview

Salish Kootenai College is a Native American college located in Pablo, Montana. It was established as a branch campus of the Flathead Valley Community College but began functioning independently in 1981. SKC is a member of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. The college offers more than 5 bachelor's degree programs, more than 12 associate’s degree programs and over five certificate programs. Most of the degree programs provided by SKC are career-oriented.

SKC has an active student life. The campus hosts a wide variety of student clubs and organizations. Some of the popular ones are Student Senate, SKC AISES and SKC AIBL.
