Overview

Sampson Community College, also known as SCC, is located in Clinton, North Carolina, United States. It was established in the year 1965 as an extended unit of the Goldsboro Industrial Education Center. The name changed to its current name in the year 1987. The college is a two-year, public community college for adult students of Sampson and neighboring counties. The main campus spreads across an area of more than 50 acres. Sampson Community College hosts several educational programs including Public Service Programs, Health Programs, and Agricultural and Industrial Programs. The college also offers courses through distance learning.

Sampson Community College encourages an active student life, and various organizations and clubs are run by the Student Government Association Senate.
