Samra University Of Oriental Medicine

Samra University of Oriental Medicine, an institute of higher education located in Los Angeles, California, derives its name from the acronym of Sino-American Medical Rehabilitation Association, formally chartered in 1969. By 1975, SAMRA had founded a Research Institute of Therapeutics and Acupuncture (RITA), with a Healing Arts Center in Los Angeles. Samra University offers master’s and doctoral degrees in medical related areas of study.

Samra University of Oriental Medicine also offers online courses for the students. The university has a long list of notable alumni, who include Barbara N. Burns, Medical Practitioner; Diana L. Roman, Medical Practitioner; and Julie Lim Grief, Medical Practitioner.
