Overview

San Bernardino Valley College, or SBVC, was founded in 1926 and is the 25th oldest community college in California. This two-year college encompasses more than 80 acres in San Bernardino, California. It is part of the San Bernardino Community College District and offers numerous academic and vocational programs. Some of the academic units of SBVC are business and information technology division, visual, performing and media arts division, social science and human development division, and humanities division.

SBVC has a wide variety of student clubs and organizations including the Alpha Gamma Sigma, Automotive Technology Club, Campus Crusade for Christ, Human Services Association, Tai Chi Chuan Club, American Sign Language Club, and many more.

The athletic teams of SBVC are known as the Wolverines. The university is a member of the Foothill Conference. The men's teams include cross country, basketball, baseball, soccer, football, and track and field events. The women’s teams include basketball, soccer, track and field, softball, cross country, and volleyball.
