Overview
San Diego Christian College, also known as SDCC, is a conservative Christian college located in El Cajon, California, United States. It was founded in 1970 as Christian Heritage College to promote the biblical creationism within higher education. The founders of SDCC are Drs. Tim LaHaye, Art Peters, and Henry Morris. It was renamed as San Diego Christian College in 2005. The college offers bachelor’s degrees in diverse areas of study.
SDCC’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams. The college is a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). They participate in sports including cross-country, soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and track.
