Overview

San Joaquin Valley College, also commonly abbreviated as SJVC, has eight campuses in different regions of California such as Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, Modesto, Rancho Cordova and Rancho Cucamonga. It also has an online campus for students. SJVC was established in 1977 and offers the students with associate's and certificate degree programs. The SJVC Fresno campus was founded in 1985.

SJVC Fresno campus offers the students certificate and associate’s degree programs in areas such as business administration, corrections officer, medical assisting, dental assisting, pharmacy technology, surgical technology, and veterinary technology. The college also offers the students with morning, evening and afternoon classes as well as online course facilities.

SJVC Fresno campus offers the students with financial aids in the form of institutional scholarships and State CAL grants. The campus hosts several student clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students.
