Overview

San Juan College is a community college situated in Farmington, New Mexico. SJC was established in 1956 as a branch of the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts. In 1981, it became an independent community college. San Juan College offers more than 70 different degrees and certificates in varied areas of study. The college is comprised of the following schools:

San Juan College's campus hosts quite a few student organizations and clubs. A few of them are Alpha Eta Rho, Dirty Mud Lovers, American Indian Science & Engineering Society and ESCAPE (Edge Student Committee Achieving Personal Excellence).
