Overview

The Sandersville Technical College, also known as the STC, was first established as the Sandersville Regional Technical Institute in 1994 and offered training on commercial truck driving. The college got its current name in 2000. The college is two year public college and offers associate’s degree program in courses such as business information and data processing, accounting technician, electrician, and welding. The college also offers the facility of online learning for some courses.

STC has a Student Government association which helps to link the students with faculty as well as improve the morale of school. It also has Greek life comprising the Phi Beta Lambda Society. The other clubs and organizations of STC include the Roteract club, National Technical Honor Society and the Health Occupations club.
