Overview

Santa Rosa Junior College, or SRJC, was founded in 1918 and is the tenth oldest, two-year, community college of California. In addition to its 190 acre main campus, in the city of Santa Rosa in California, the college has another 40-acre campus in Petaluma. SRJC attracts students from over 40 countries around the world.

SRJC is organized into various academic units and offers more than 70 major programs. Some of the departments are agriculture sciences, behavioral sciences, business administration, culinary arts, and mathematics.

Santa Rosa Junior College offers several scholarships including the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Continuing Student Scholarship, Judson Memorial Scholarship, SRJC Foundation Transferring Student Scholarship, Alex Ling Memorial Scholarship, and Margaret B. Trussell Memorial Scholarships.

There are many active student organizations in SRJC including the scholastic honor society of Alpha Gamma Sigma, American Sign Language Club, Black Students Union, and Player’s Club are a few prominent ones.
