Overview
Sauk Valley Community College, also known as SVCC, is located in Dixon, Illinois, United States. It was established in 1965. The college boasts of an enrollment of over 5,000 students per semester. The college offers numerous internal and external scholarships such as the Glenn Bailey Scholarship, Charles A. Farham Scholarship, Sterling Rotary Club Thurlow Wyne Scholarship, and many more. SVCC offers a number of degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study. It consists of the following academic divisions:

SVCC has officially recognized several student organizations and clubs. Some of these organizations are the Campus Crusade for Christ, Phi Theta Kappa, Association of Latin American Students, Math Club, Undiscovered Concept (Technology) Club, History Club, and Single Parents Association.
