Overview

Schenectady County Community College or SCCC was founded in 1967, and is located in Schenectady, New York. The school was established by the Schenectady County Board of Representatives. SCCC is a part of the SUNY (State University of New York) system.

SCCC's campus has 5 buildings, and covers 50 acres. The college is well-known for its music and culinary arts departments. SCCC offers career programs, transfer degree programs, and certificate programs. Degree designations include Associate in Arts degree, Associate in Science degree, Associate in Applied Science degree, and Associate in Occupational Studies degree.
