School for International Training, also known as SIT, was started in 1934 as a part of the Experiment for International Living. In 1964, the college was renamed as the SIT Graduate Institute. SIT Graduate School offers master’s and certificate degree programs in areas such as teacher preparation, social justice in intercultural relations, management of NGO, intercultural service, leadership and management, and sustainable development. The college also has a number of international and study abroad programs available.
SIT Graduate School has an active student association which organizes student clubs and activities such as hiking, sports equipments usage and instructional activities. The college has a student body comprising of national as well as a large number of international students representing more than 30 countries. It also offers the facility of institutional financial aid for the students.
