The School of the Museum of Fine Arts is located in Boston, Massachusetts and was founded in 1876. Students can obtain degrees and certificate programs in several areas of study, including film and animation, art education, ceramics, photography, sculpture and painting. Continuing education courses are also provided to the students. The school is a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.
The School of the Museum of Fine Arts is home to several student clubs and organizations, including the Society for Urban Exploration, the Queer Social Club, the Horror Film Club, B.A.R.F. (Bikes are Really Fun) and the SMFA A Capella Club.
