Overview
Schoolcraft College was founded in 1961 as the Northwest Wayne County Community College. It adopted its present name on February 6, 1963. The college was named after Henry Schoolcraft, an American geologist. The main campus of this community college is located in Livonia, Michigan. In addition, the college has a satellite campus in Garden City, Michigan.
Some of the academic units of Schoolcraft College are computer information systems, emergency medical technology, human development services, and quality management. The scholarship programs offered by the college include Schoolcraft College Institutional Scholarships, Schoolcraft College Trustee Scholarship, Athletic Scholarships, and many more.
The student organizations and clubs of Schoolcraft College play a very active role in students' lives.
