The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception was established by Thomas E. Molloy, the third Bishop of Brooklyn, in 1926. Located in Huntington, New York, the institute initially only offered enrollment to males in the dioceses of Rockville Centre and Brooklyn. It began enrolling non-clergy members in 1974.
The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception confers Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degrees in pastoral studies and theology. Doctor of Ministry degree programs are also available. The Program for Priestly Formation is aimed to prepare a seminarian for ordained ministry.
