Seminole Community College

Seminole Community College, or SCC, is a community college with campuses located throughout Seminole County, Florida, United States. The Florida State Legislature created Seminole Junior College on July 1, 1965. It became Seminole Community College on July 1, 1975. The college enrolls more than 29,000 students. SCC offers degrees and programs through the following campuses:

  • Altamonte Springs Campus
  • Oviedo Campus
  • Sanford/ Lake Mary Campus
  • The Center for Economic Development at Heathrow

SCC offers two-year college credit degrees (A.A., A.S.), specialized career certificates, continuing professional education, adult education, and community, leisure, and youth programs. It also hosts an array of culturally inspiring events including theatrical and musical performances, planetarium shows, and guest speakers.
