Overview
Shepherd University, created as Shepherd College in 1871, was given present name in 2002. It is a state-funded, American, university located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The University currently enrolls more than 4,200 students annually and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree in diverse areas of study. The university has the following schools:

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for major sports.
