Overview
Skidmore College is located in Saratoga Springs, New York, United States. It was founded in 1903 as the Young Women’s Industrial Club by Lucy Skidmore Scribner. The college received its present name in 1922. Students of Skidmore College are offered degree programs in more than 60 ares of study including art, law and society, economics, religion, and computer science.
The various clubs and organizations available to the students include the American Studies Club, Student Government Association, Asian Cultural Awareness, Christian Fellowship, and Environmental Action Club. Male students participate in sports such as ice hockey, golf, swimming and diving, crew, baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, and lacrosse. The women participate is sports such as basketball, field hockey, riding, soccer, crew, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming and diving, and lacrosse.
