Snead State Community College

Snead State Community College, also known as SSCC, is a community college located in Boaz, Alabama, United States. It was established in 1898 as Boaz Seminary. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. SSCC also provides adult education and skills training programs.

Snead State Community College boasts of an active student life. The campus hosts several student clubs, organizations, and honor societies such as the Student Government Association, Snead State Agriculturual Organization, Phi Beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, and Campus Civitan Club. The college's athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. They are nicknamed the Parsons.
