Overview

Soka University of America at Aliso Viejo, California was established in 1995 and has a 103-acre campus. It is a part of the Soka University of America education society, founded by Daisaku Ikeda. SUA offers both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in areas like environmental studies, humanities, international studies and social and behavioral sciences.

SUA has an active student life. The college has a number of student clubs, such as the Business Club, the Anime Club, the Biodiversity Club and the Drama Club. Its athletics department sponsors basketball, volleyball and soccer teams. SUA offers financial aid to both local and international students studying at the college.
