Overview

Somerset Christian College is a part of the Pillar of Fire International, an evangelical organization that was established in 1901; the name of Somerset Christian College is abbreviated as SCC. The college opened its doors in 1908 under the name Zarephath Bible Institute or ZBI. On March 23, 2001, ZBI was renamed Somerset Christian College. The college is located in Zarephath, New Jersey. It offers associate's and bachelor's degrees to students. The various degree programs comprise biblical studies, Christian counseling, and organizational leadership. In addition, the institute offers certificate to students in narrative biblical theology. The institute provides day, evening, and online classes to students.

Somerset Christian College has partnered with several organizations to provide students with an active campus life. The organizations include Autumn Blaze, Victory Sports Campsm and Star 99.1 FM. The institute offers eligible students various financial aids. SCC also offers crisis counseling, helping students overcome challenging situations in their life.
