Overview
Southeastern Technical College was established in 1989. It is a two-year public college located in Vidalia, Georgia. STC was originally founded as the Southeastern Technical Institute, but its name was changed to Southeastern Technical College in 2000. The institution also runs a campus in Glennville, about 43 miles from the main campus.
A number of degrees, diplomas and certification courses are offered by Southeastern Technical College in the fields of health sciences, business technologies, industrial technologies and human services. Apart from these, STC has programs in continuing education, adult literacy and economic development.
Southeastern Technical College is home to a number of student-run clubs and organizations. These include the International Association of Administrative Professionals, the Pharmacy Technology Club, the Surgical Tech Club and the National Technical Honor Society, among others.
