Overview
Southern Arkansas University Tech, also known as SAU Tech, is beautifully located in Camden, Arkansas, United States. It was founded on April 5, 1967, as the Southwest Technical Institute. It became part of the Southern Arkansas University in 1975 and settled on its present name. SAU Tech offers a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study. It is made up of the following academic units:

SAU Tech sponsors a number of student clubs and organizations such as the Aviation Club, Resident Housing Association, Allied Health Students Club, SAU Tech Student Ambassadors, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, Phi Theta Kappa, Wings & Things Aviation Maintenance Club of Texarkana, and Phi Beta Lambda.
