Overview

Southern California Seminary, also known as SCS, is located in El Cajon, California. Established in 1997, the seminary was initially known as the Southern California Bible College & Seminary, but was given its current name in 2005. The Southern California Bible College & Seminary was formed when the Linda Vista Baptist Bible College and Seminary, the Southern California Bible College and the San Diego Bible College and Seminary merged. The institute confers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology, divinity and religious studies, among others. It also offers online degree programs. SCS also operates campuses in Los Angeles, Orange County, Escondido, South Bay, Mexico and Spain.

Southern California Seminary offers financial aid to its students. The institute also provides a work-study program.
