Overview

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, or SIUE, is located in Edwardsville, Illinois, United States. It is the younger of the two constituent institutions of Southern Illinois University. It was established in 1957. According to US News & World Report, America's best colleges of 2008, SIUE ranks in the top ten Midwest masters public colleges. The campus is spread across an area of 2,660 acres.

SIUE offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
