Overview
Southern Oregon University was established in 1872. The university is located in Ashland, Oregon. This 4-year public university was formerly known as Ashland College. The university enrolls more than 5,000 students every term. It offers degrees in over 100 areas of study. It also offers many professional and graduate programs to its students.

Athletics
School sports include football (Division I Independents), basketball (Cascade Collegiate Conference), baseball (), and track (Cascade Collegiate Conference).
