Overview

Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, also referred to as Southern, is a community college located in southwestern West Virginia, United States. The college was established as the Logan Branch of Marshall College and the Williamson Branch of Marshall College in 1960. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in several areas of study.

Southern boasts of an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students. The student body is diverse and includes an impressive number of foreign students. There are special clubs to assist foreign students with admission into the college.
