Overview
Southside Virginia community college is one of the schools of Virginia Community College system. It was established in 1970. Alberta and Brunswick County are the two campuses of the college. It also operates several off-campus sites. SVCC enrolls more than 8,000 students per term. With more than 20 colleges, SVCC offers two-year programs with diverse options ranging from Administration and Electronics Technology to Medical Services, Nursing and Truck Driving. The college is comprised of the following 8 campuses:
