Overview

Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, also known as SWIHA, is beautifully located in Tempe, Arizona, United Staes. It was established in 1992 as the Southwest Institute of Myotherapy. It adopted its present name in 1998. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students annually. In 2007-2008, SWIHA won the Best Community Student Practice award and the Best Placement Practice award. The school offers a number of degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs. The school also has a Hypnotherapy Clinic, Massage Clinic, Reiki Clinic, Aesthetics Clinic, and a Yoga Center.

As a community-centered school, SWIHA organizes a number of events for the community. The ASBA and Comerica Bank of Arizona have also listed the school as one of the “Top 50 Companies to Watch."
