Overview

Southwest Texas Junior College is a public, 2-year college located in the foothills of Uvalde, Texas. The college includes four separate campuses, which serve more than ten counties in Texas. All these campuses are spread out over Del Rio, unincorporated Uvalde County, unincorporated Maverick County and Crystal City. SWTJC offers a wide variety of degrees and programs to its students.

The Southwest Texas Junior College athletic's department has both men’s and women’s sports teams, which are nicknamed The Cowboys. SWTJC's campuses host a number of student organizations and clubs like the Gaming club, Catholic Clubs and the Education Club.
