Overview

Southwestern Michigan College, also known as SMC, is located near Dowagiac, Michigan, United States. It was established on November 19, 1964. The first classes were held in September 1966, with 525 students and 15 full-time and 20 part-time faculties. The college campus encompasses more than 230 acres of land. It also offers numerous scholarship programs such as the Talent Awards Scholarships, Awards of Distinction Scholarships, Bookstore Scholarship, and many more. SMC offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study and is made up of the following academic units:
