Overview
Stanly Community College, also referred to as SCC, is beautifully nestled in a small town of Albemarle, North Carolina, United States. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. SCC was named a “superior” institution in the 2005–2006 academic year. The college is divided into the following academic schools:

- School of Stanly Online
- School of Transfer
SCC is home to a number of student clubs and organizations such as the Associate Degree Nursing Club, Early Childhood Club, Phi Beta Lamda, Criminal Justice Club, Student Government Association, Multicultural Club, Phi Theta Kappa, and Simulation and Game Developers Association.
SCC participates in a wide variety of sports including volleyball, baseball, and softball. Their athletic teams are nicknamed the Eagles. They are a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
