Overview

Sterling College Craftsbury Common, located in Vermont, was founded in 1958 by Norman Rioux. Established as a college preparatory school for boys, the college was named in honor of Margaret Sterling. The Craftsbury Common campus, which is comprised of around 14 buildings on more than 100 acres, offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. Programs are available in conservation ecology, sustainable agriculture, outdoor education and leadership, and circumpolar studies.

Sterling College Craftsbury Common offers a scholarships for eligible students, such as the Environmental Steward Scholarship, the Presidential Scholarship, the Gladys Brooks Merit Scholarship, the Achievement Scholarship, and the Tyler Rigg Scholarship.

Student life at Sterling College Craftsbury Common includes a great variety of on-campus activities and events, excursions, and outdoor recreation. The campus also provides academic advising and career counseling services.
