Overview

Stetson University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university located in Deland, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1883. The main campus of Stetson spreads across an area of 175 acres. The university also operates 3 satellite campuses. In the 2008 U.S. News and World Report guide to ‘America's Best Colleges’, Stetson ranked 2nd in the category of Southern Masters-granting institutions. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:

Stetson hosts more than 15 honorary academic and professional organizations and over 100 other student organizations on campus. The campus boasts of an active Greek life.
