Overview

Suffolk County Community College, or SCCC, is a two-year, public college on Long Island, New York, United States. The college has several campuses but the oldest one is located in Selden. Other campuses are situated in Brentwood, Riverhead, and Sayville.

SCCC offers an Associate in Science (A.S.), Associate in Arts (A.A.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees, as well as a variety of certificate programs. Students can choose from more than 65 programs of study.

The athletic department of SCCC offers various men’s and women’s sports teams. SCCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The athletes participate in sports such baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, swimming, and tennis. SCCC is home to honor societies such as Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and Alpha Beta Gamma (ABG).
