Overview

SUNY College at Brockport, also known as SUNY Brockport or College at Brockport, is a four-year, liberal arts college located in Brockport, Monroe County, New York, United States. It was established in 1841 as the Brockport Collegiate Institute. The college is part of the State University of New York and belongs to Tier 2 within the SUNY system. SUNY Brockport offers a wide variety of degree and programs in diverse areas of study. The college campus played host to the International Special Olympics held in 1979.

There are several student clubs and organizations on campus. Some of the important ones are Army ROTC, Art Student Association, Brockport Television, and EuroSim. The college's student-run newspaper is called The Stylus.

Some notable alumni of SUNY college at Brockport are William Fichtner, American character known for his role in The Dark Knight; Gene Spafford, computer scientist; and James Howard Kunstler, author and social critic.
