Overview

SUNY College of Technology at Canton, also known as SUNY Canton, is located in Canton, New York, United States. It was established in 1906 as the School of Agriculture. It was renamed to New York State Agricultural and Technical Institute in 1941. In 1948, it joined the State University of New York System. The college became State University of New York Agricultural and Technical College at Canton in 1965 and adopted its current name in 1987. The college offers a number of bachelor, associate, and certificate programs through the following schools:

  • School of Science, Health & Public Service

SUNY Canton sponsors several student clubs and activities. Some of these organizations are the Aerobics Club, Habitat for Humanity, Native American Organization, Student Cooperative Alliance, Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Phi Sigma, Criminal Justice and Public Service Club, Alpha Theta Gamma, Zen-Do Kai Karate Club, Sigma Lambda Psi, Kappa Xi Omega, and Horse Club.
