Overview

Empire State College is one of the arts and science colleges of the State University of New York (SUNY). It is a multi-site institution that offers higher education. Empire State College offers associate degrees, bachelor degrees, and master degrees to its students.

Empire State offers distance education to students throughout the world. It also offers various flexible programs including extensive transfers of credits from other universities, standardized evaluations, and the opportunity to devise one's own degree with an academic advisor or mentor.

The Center for International Programs, run by Empire State, has special programs for students in Lebanon, Czech Republic, and Greece. The college has also arranged learning opportunities with the United Steel workers of America, United Auto Workers-Ford, Corporate Noncredit Training, Navy College Program, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
