Overview

State University of New York Institute of Technology, also referred to as SUNYIT, is a public, coeducational university located in Utica, Rome, New York, United States. It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY). It was established on June 14, 1966, by the Board of Trustees of SUNY. The campus stretches across approximately 800 acres of urban land. It grants admission to more than 2,000 students every year, on average.
