SUNY-Potsdam

SUNY Potsdam, located in New York, United States is also referred to as State University of New York at Potsdam, and was established in 1816 by Benjamin Raymond, the land agent. The university was originally known as St. Lawrence Academy. SUNY Potsdam is among the 13 SUNY Arts and Science Colleges and among the 64 State University of New York units. The university offers its students academic majors and minors in a variety of study areas including art studio, business administration, French, sociology and mathematics.

Students at SUNY Potsdam take part in various clubs and organizations including the Archery Club, the Culinary Club, the Hockey Club, the Gaming Club and various Greek Organizations. The SUNY Potsdam radio station is called WAIH, which is organized as well as run by the college students.
