Overview

The Talmudical Seminary Oholei Torah is also known as Oholei Torah. It was founded by Rabbi Michoel Teitelbaum in early 1956. The school’s all-boy kindergarten was established in 1958 and the junior high school division was opened in 1964. Beis HaMedrash was founded in the year 1970. The school is located in Brooklyn, New York. Oholei Torah is organized into the following academic divisions:

Some of the notable alumni of Oholei Torah are Rabbi Pinchas Ciment, the director of Chabad of Arkansas; Avraham Shabsi Friedman, a popular musical entertainer in the Orthodox Jewish community; and Rabbi Yitzchok Magalnic, the director of Chabad of Rancho Verdes.
