Overview

Taylor University is located in Upland, Indiana, United States. It was established in 1846 by the Methodist Church as Fort Wayne Female College. The university is recognized as one of the oldest evangelical Christian schools in America.

The campus spreads across an area of 250 acres. Taylor University-Upland offers enrollment to more than 1,500 students who represent over 45 states in the U.S. and more than 200 countries. Students of the university can choose from more than 90 undergraduate majors. Some of its popular programs are in the fields of business, education, exercise science, and new media.

Taylor University-Upland has several on-campus clubs and organizations including the Math Club, Writer's Club, Computer Science Club, and Women's Lacrosse Club. The university's sports teams are nicknamed the Trojans.

Athletics

School sports include football (Mid-States Football Association), basketball (Mid-Central College Conference), baseball (Mid-Central College Conference), and track (Mid-Central College Conference).
