Overview

Terra Community College is located in Fremont, Ohio, United States. It was founded in September 1968 as a night school called Vanguard Technical Institute. In 1971, the college offered both day and evening classes for the first time. The name of the college was changed to Terra Technical College in 1973. It became Terra State Community College in 1994. The college encompasses more than 100 acres in Fremont. It offers over 100 degrees and certificate programs in several fields of study.

Terra Community College has a Student Activities Center which is ideal for recreation or a good workout. The college has also recognized several student clubs and organizations such as the Terra Christian Fellowship, American Sign Language Club, Student Nursing Association, Phi Theta Kappa, Terra Gamers Club, and Society of Plastics Engineers.
