Overview

Texarkana College was established in 1927, and is a division of the Texarkana Independent School District. Initially the college only consisted of a few classrooms, laboratories, and a gymnasium. The college moved to its new campus in October, 1951. The main campus covers an area of 20 acres and the college offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in diverse areas of study. Texarkana College also offers online education.

Texarkana College’s campus boasts an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of student clubs and organizations based on the diverse interests of the students. The college also has several men’s and women’s sports teams which are nicknamed the Bulldogs.
