Overview
Texas A&M International University, also referred to as TAMIU, is located in Laredo, Texas. The university was established in 1969 and is a member institution of the Texas A&M University System. The campus covers an area of 300 acres and boasts of enrolling more than 5,000 students annually. There are 5 colleges under the university which includes:

- College of Arts and Sciences

- College of Nursing and Health Sciences
There are many student organizations and clubs including the ANIME Club, the Campos, Art Ink, Campus Crusade for Christ, and the Newman Club. The university female students play sports such as golf, soccer, softball and volleyball, while the male students play basketball, golf and baseball.

Athletics
