Overview

Texas A&M University–Texarkana, also known as A&M-Texarkana or TAMU-T, is located in Texarkana, Texas, United States. It was founded in 1971 as a part of East Texas State University. It joined the Texas A&M System in September 1996 and was named Texas A&M University–Commerce. Texas A&M University–Texarkana offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as many certificate programs. It is divided into the following academic colleges:
