Overview
Texas Wesleyan University is located in Fort Worth, Texas, United Staes. It was established in 1890 by the Methodist Episcopal Church. At that time, it was named Polytechnic College. The first classes were held in September 1891 with 111 students. It became Texas Woman’s College in 1914 and Texas Wesleyan College in 1934. The university added its first graduate program in 1970. Texas Wesleyan is divided into the following academic schools and colleges:

- School of Law
Texas Wesleyan has officially recognized several fraternities and sororities. Some of these Greek organizations are Kappa Alpha Order, Phi Beta Sigma, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Gamma Sigma Sigma, Alpha Xi Delta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Lambda Kappa Kappa.
Texas Wesleyan is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in the Red River Athletic Conference. Their men's sports teams include soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. The women's sports teams participate in volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball.
